Emergency Plans
On occasion emergencies arise, such as heavy rains and thunderstorms. Should this happen and it becomes
necessary to close school or take other emergency measures, parents and guardians will be contacted
through an automatic communicating system, including telephone messages and e-mails. For this reason
the office needs accurate and current phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Also, radio and television
stations will make periodic announcements. Tune into KONG or KUAI radio to get this information.
If parents have concerns or want to know about particular situations, they should call the office. Secondhand
information can be incorrect, and assuming its truth can lead to unnecessary difficulties or
complications.
