Dave has been teaching high school English for the past twenty years, nine of those years at Island School. He earned his undergrad degree in English from Yale, and his master's in English from Middlebury. He published several curriculum units through the Yale/New Haven Teacher's Institute and was cited last year in the Cambridge Shakespeare Encyclopedia. In addition to learning and teaching, Dave enjoys surfing, reading, and writing.
