Na Pua Keiki's Outdoor Learning Spaces - This year we have moved all of our learning outside. What this means is we have basically moved everything we do from inside the classroom to outside it. Our primary objective continues to be engaging children in exploring, wondering, and learning. Engagement is key and it does not happen by accident; it requires support of the Na Pua Keiki teachers on many levels. Our teachers support children's initiative, provide them with physical resources, and participate in ways that help our children connect with the activities successfully so they can expand their own learning. The teachers know delivery is part of the content, the method is the lesson, and our environment is the additional teacher. Some of the learning areas include: the table top area, tinker space, loose parts and block area, and our water works space.
