5th Grade Ancestral Quilt

Students in Caitlin Kaʻaihue's fifth grade class researched their family heritage with the help of their parents and grandparents, and created a collage of maps, pictures and diagrams that represent where they come from. As you can see they have a very diverse class who come from all over the world! Each individual piece of this quit is tied together, connecting each student to one another. Every day, Island School celebrates diversity and each student's unique qualities.
