Na Pua Keiki's inquiry continues with ʻUlu. The students are developing an understanding about the tree and it’s parts. They have spent this week dissecting and closely examining the ʻulu fruit in the different stages of ripeness, and have found many creative ways to use the leaves. Did you know you can make stickers or name tags out of the ʻulu leaves? It is also tasty to eat in a variety of ways. Did you know you can make ʻulu fries and/or mash with it? On Friday the students will be making ʻUlu Malasada. Na Pua Keiki are inspired by the beauty and complexity of ʻulu!
