Friday April, 29, the YWCA of Kauaʻi is hosting a film screening of Voices Beyond Barbed Wire: Stories of Hawaiʻi. Doors of the KCC Fine Arts Auditorium open at 5:00 pm. The program begins at 6:00 pm with an introduction by the film's producer Carole Hayashino. Following the film, we will have a brief Q&A with Carole Hayashino and Carol Yotsuda, who is featured in the film. The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i, which sponsored the creation of the film, will also be in attendance.
Admission is free, but we are offering tickets via Eventbrite to help us prepare for the event. However, obtaining a ticket or pre-registering is not required.
