6th Grade and their 2nd Grade Buddies!

The second and sixth graders meet during the last block every A day! They take turns choosing activities to do with their buddies. So far, they have chosen: baseball, basketball, soccer, drawing, hide and seek, card games, and scavenger hunts. This week, our second and sixth grade buddies chose playtime on the playground! This has been a wonderful opportunity for our 2nd graders to connect with older students and for the 6th graders to take on the role of mentor/ role model for their younger buddies.
