March 9th Auction Seeking Donations and Volunteers

Island School is an amazing school due in part to the support of our parent community. Many of you have given countless hours volunteering your time, chaperoning class events, fundraising for special projects, baking/cooking for teacher appreciation activities, and so much more. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.

Island School’s 40th Annual Gala Auction, our biggest fundraiser of the year, is coming up on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort in Lihu‘e. As one of Kaua‘i’s preeminent social events, the Island School Auction connects the school with our greater Kaua‘i community.

This year we will be transported to the canals of Venice with the theme CARNEVALE di Venezia -The Grand Masquerade Ball. We are planning a festive night of food, fun, and fellowship complete with silent, almost live & live auctions, open wine and beer bar, Northern Italian cuisine and entertainment. We hope you will be able to attend, invitations are to follow.

We are currently seeking auction item donations. If you and/or your company have something to donate, such as vacation accommodations, sporting events, unique experiences, gift basket items, jewelry, etc., please contact our Development Office at (808) 246-0233.

Lastly, we are recruiting a team of volunteers to help with this massive event. Without the support of our volunteers, this crucial fundraiser would not be possible. If you can share your time and/or talents, please email auction@ischool.org. We invite you to follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/IslandSchoolAuction, Instagram (@islandschoolhi), and our website at: www.ischool.org/page/Auction to receive the latest updates on this event.

With your help, we will be able to raise critical funds for our Tuition Aid program, which enriches and diversifies the Island School student body. Presently, with help from generous supporters like you, the school is able to provide tuition assistance to 43% of our students. Let’s come together again to reach even more students this year.
