Island School is hosting the Hawaii Association of College Admissions Counselors (HACAC) annual fall College Fair on Monday, October 13 from 9:15 - 11:30. The Fair will be held in the Wilcox Gym.
We are pleased to report that over 60 colleges will be in attendance. All Island School high school students will be attending the fair from 10:45 - 11:30. Earlier in the morning, other schools around the island will be bussed in.
We will be partnering with Strivescan so that colleges can quickly download student contact information and connect them to resources. All high school students have been invited to register for the fair in their classes and advisories this week. Due to our phone ban, they will not be able to display their QR codes on their phones, so they will have to print out their QR codes and bring it in on College Fair day if they do not want to fill out the contact cards manually. If your student missed registration, they can do so by clicking here.
This fair is free and open to the public, so feel free to attend yourself as well! As a parent, you are welcome anytime that the fair is open. You do not have to stick to the assigned Island School time.
We are excited to share this important resource with our school and with our island.
