March 7 Science Olympiad!

The Middle School Science Olympiad team is made up of 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students. They will be traveling to compete in the Hawaii State Science Olympiad Tournament at UH Mānoa on March 7, 2026.

Since August, students have been diligently preparing for this competition through studying, practicing, and constructing their engineering builds. This year’s Science Olympiad Tournament includes five build events. In addition, students will participate in 18 other events that test their knowledge in Biology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

The Island School team has proudly represented Kauaʻi at the Middle School level for the past five years and have done very well! Good luck to our Voyagers!
