Field trips in First Grade

This week, our first grade class took a field trip to Keoki's Paradise restaurant for lunch! Students got a tour of the kitchen, and learned about the different skills needed to work at a restaurant. First grade students are going on field trips into their community to connect what they are learning in the classroom to the real world around them. Next week, First Grade will visit the Līhuʻe Fire Station, and the Kauaʻi Emergency Management Agency.
