Today, Dave Hubbard, founder of Hubboards and volunteer with the National Botanical Tropical Garden, visited Pat Gegen's high school sustainability class. Dave talked about the uses and importance of the ʻUlu (breadfruit) plant. Ms. Janet's first grade class and Ms. Shantelle's kindergarten class joined Mr. Gegen and Dave Hubbard to enjoy some ʻUlu chips and hummus, harvested by the high school sustainability class from the tree in the kindergarten playground.
