This past Saturday, the Mayor’s Youth Track Meet 2025 was held at the Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex in Kapa‘a—and what a day it was! The rain held off, the skies cleared, and the energy was electric as 39 Island School elementary students joined in a day of friendly competition with six other schools from across Kaua‘i.

 

A huge congratulations to all our runners, jumpers, and throwers! Whether you placed or simply gave it your best, we’re proud of each and every one of you. Your spirit and sportsmanship truly shined.

 

Mahalo nui loa to all the parents who made the day possible—driving keiki, cheering from the stands, and stepping up to help with logistics. COACH Emily and COACH Lowery couldn’t have done it without you!
