On Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 p.m., Hale ʻŌpio Kauaʻi will be hosting a Family Fun Day & Back-to-School Bash, featuring school supply giveaways, games, rides, activities, lucky drawings, and more. This free event open to the public and is designed to create a fun, inclusive space for families while providing students with the tools they need for a successful school year. Activity tickets can be purchased at the registration tent on the day of the event. We have volunteer opportunities available for anyone who might be interested.

Hale ʻŌpio Kauaʻi is also hosting a special fundraising event on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Royal Sonesta, featuring performances by Kaniaulono Hāpai—a gifted 17-year-old Hawaiian mele composer and performer with deep roots on Kaua‘i—and Kuana Torres Kahele, a renowned vocalist, songwriter, and kumu hula known for his mastery of traditional Hawaiian music and multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards.

They are currently seeking silent auction donations for the event and would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with Island School families. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
