This year, Island School was invited to participate in an exhibit at the Bishop Museum on Oʻahu centering on engaging younger students to get them excited about the museum. Middle Schools across that state were offered to participate in building a lego version of their school logo to be displayed at the Bishop Museum. Before Winter Break, the entire middle school worked together in advisory to complete one portion of the lego build, allowing every student in middle school to participate! The finished mosaic will be shipped to Oʻahu to be displayed at the Bishop Museum later this month.
