Celebration of Life for Connie Kakalia
A Celebration of Life for Connie Kakalia, longtime Island School second grade teacher, will be held on Island School's campus on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 11am. Please a Lei for Connie's Lei of Aloha Wall which will be outside our 2nd Grade classroom.
Connie's ʻOhana is asking for tropical florals and greenery to help with decor for the service. If anyone is able to donate florals and greenery, they can be dropped off at the front of school on Friday, January 23rd, or the morning of Saturday, January 24th. Plants that are needed are: montera, song of India, palm fronds, green and red ti, sturdy tropicals such of ginger, bird of paradise, anthurium, haleconia, etc.
