This week, Elementary School celebrated the end of Quarter 1 with the Quarter 1 Character Awards in Morning Circle. Each quarter, students learn about one Hawaiian value that is woven into their curriculum. The Hawaiian value for Quarter 1 this year was Hoʻihi, the value of reverence and respect. Two students from each grade were chosen for this award as someone who exemplifies this value in the classroom each day. One student from each grade was also chosen per enrichment (PE, music, art, Hawaiian studies, and library).
