Tales of Laughing Fox

On Monday, Michael Charette, Laughing Fox - a Native American flute player and storyteller - visited Island School to perform and share stories about his Native American heritage. Laughing Fox shared stories through songs about nature, animals, and life. He grew up near the Apostle Islands near Lake Superior of Northern Wisconsin and while visiting Island School, shared stories and language of the Ojibwe people. Laughing Fox's visit was in connection with the Kauaʻi Concert Association, an organization that brings world class musicians to Kauaʻi along with educational opportunities for keiki across our island.
