Robotics Competition this weekend

Island School’s robotics team is heading to O‘ahu this weekend for the final FIRST Tech Challenge Hawai‘i League Tournament on Saturday, December 13, 2025. This event is their last league competition before the Hawai‘i State Championship on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Team members Sean Lottermoser, Phoenix Ma, Dylan Leitenburg, Spencer Brosius, and Kai Paterson have spent the past three months designing, building, and refining their robot. They’ve already competed in two tournaments where they performed exceptionally well, demonstrating teamwork, creativity, and strong engineering skills. These strong showings have positioned them well heading into this final league meet.

With dedication and momentum behind them, the team is ready for an exciting and competitive weekend as they take on both the last league tournament and the State Championship.
