Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair

Four students from Island School represented the school at the Hawaiʻi State Science and Engineering Fair on April 2 at the Neal Blaisdell Center. In total, 21 students from Kauaʻi participated in the event.
During the competition, students presented their projects and participated in approximately four hours of interviews with 4–7 judges.

Cora '29, Tanner '29, and Callum '27 competed in the Senior Division (High School), facing about 130 other projects.

Nathaniel '30 competed in the Junior Division (Middle School) against 120 projects and earned first place in his category, along with a special award from the American Water Works Association - Hawaiʻi Section.
