First Grade Grand Hyatt Field Trip

On Thursday, First Grade took a field trip to the Grand Hyatt. First Grade is learning about plants and the environment, and received a tour guided by the Director of Facilities to hear about the different uses of water throughout the hotel. Students learned about the different systems used to water the grass on the hotel grounds, and got to see the aquaponics garden where the Hyatt grows the vegetables for their restaurants! At the end of the day, students wrote about what they've learned in their science journals.
