Finding the Light in Kindergarten

In art class, Kindergarten has been setting their intentions of light for the autumn and winter season. Students viewed images of dark skies followed by images of celebrations of light, then shared their thoughts and what their inner light was while passing a light. “My light is that I never give up and I keep trying”, was Clara’s share. “My light is my mom and that she is always there for me”, was Bellamy’s. We realized once again that we are all more alike than different, and created collaged stars to represent our sentiments.
