Ms. Jen Pomroy started working at Island School as the School Secretary in March of 2006. During that time she coached Intramural Volleyball for our Middle School. She would eventually Coach our very first KIF Girl’s Volleyball Team. In the Fall of 2008, she transitioned to the Athletic Department as the Assistant to the Athletic Director. She continued to assist with coaching Volleyball and also used her passion for hunting to become an assistant coach for Air Rifle. Since 2010, she continues to teach 8th grade girls Physical Education and Wellness, in hopes to instill in them “life lessons” along with the standard curriculum.
In the Fall of 2018, she transitioned out of the Athletic Department to teach Elementary Art and Elementary PE while continuing to teach 8th grade girls Physical Education and wellness.
Ms. Jen resides in Moloa’a and has three Voyager children. Ka’ohu (‘20), Mia (‘26) and Jax (‘32). She is the room parent for the class of 2020 and is an active member of the Voyager Booster Club.
In her freetime, she enjoys hunting, fishing and quality time with her ‘ohana. On occasion you may find her participating in random Chorus productions.
