My name is Matt Hall, and I am heading up the construction of the Island School Parent Association (ISPA). Welcome aboard everyone! Here are a few things about me: I was born and raised in Hawaii, graduated from Punahou High School, and obtained degrees from Whitman College and American University. I’ve practiced law for about 10 years, I enjoy helping nonprofits, fixing things, coaching soccer, and farming. My wonderful wife of 19 years, Mary, and I have three boys that all go to Island School. As the head of the ISPA, I hope to improve communication and participation within our Island School Ohana - subsequently enhancing the development of our children and island community.
This Tuesday, August 27th, there will be a morning social gathering for parents at the Frear Center from 7:30-8:30 am with coffee, tea, pastries, me, other ISPA board members, and some administrators, staff, and teachers. So, stop on by the Frear Center to sit down, catch up, and talk story with your fellow Island School Parents. Please feel free to talk with me anytime that I’m on campus or just simply contact me if you have any questions, advice, suggestions, or comments.
