  •  The boys soccer team traveled to Oahu last weekend for matches against perennial powerhouse house Mililani High School and Le Jardin Academy. On Friday the boys played tough against the always powerful Trojans but fell short in the end. The next day with heavy legs and rain and conditions that was referred to as "mud bog", the result was the same.  The team is showing a lot of promise. Look for our boys to push the rest of the KIF this year.
  • The girls soccer team scrimmaged against Hilo High and played a tough match that saw the Lady Voyagers strike first.  The match went back and forth but in the end the Voyagers fell 3-2.
  • Island School vs. Kailua Surfriders. A break in the rain set on the Island School field as we played host to Kailua High School for our final pre-season game. Due to the Model UN conference going on that weekend, the program was down six players. A big thank you to those that came out (Lili De Souza, Skylar Stewart, Ella Beck, and Sam Brown) and filled in where needed. Kailua was a lot more technical than Hilo; they built out of the back and switched the field a lot. The Voyagers will learn from these two games and open the KIF season in a few weeks.
