Na Pua Keiki

On this morning, families take a gallery walk with their child to observe and discuss the students’ work on displayed. This is the power in their learning.
Reflecting on work enhances its meaning. Reflecting on experiences encourage insight and complex learning. We foster our growth when we control our learning, so some reflection is best done alone.  Reflection is also enhanced, however, when we ponder our learning with others. This is the reason why we reflect with our students on a daily basis and then on `Ohana mornings with our families.
Why is important to reflect? Significance: It allows students to see the importance of their own learning process. Process Recognition: Students can identify what they did well, what didn’t go well, and what they could change.
