3rd grade class showing off their Spanish skills!

Six paintings from our elementary artists were selected for the Young Artists of Hawai'i competition and will be included in the year-long exhibit at the Hawai'i State Art Museum! This is a state-wide, juried competition put on by the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and to be chosen is a great achievement! The prompt for the artwork was "My Family, My Culture and Me" and inspired students to explore their cultural identities and family traditions. You can view the slideshow here.
