Na Pua Keiki

May Day has always been a special time for Na Pua Keiki. We work with our school community in selecting just the right song for our keiki to perform. We call upon our families and community to plan costumes and to select just the right lei. Costumes are made by the families and flowers/foliage are gathered. Then the families come together to make the costumes. This year we were able to return to this tradition after a pause last year. It is always such a joy to see the families gather together making lei and talking story. The keiki are so proud to wear the gifts their families have made for them and sing their song.
