Na Pua Keiki

Our plans for May Day have been altered over the last two years. But we are lucky to still hold on to some of the wonderful traditions. At Na Pua Keiki last week the families were able to gather back together in our tradition of making the costumes and leis. Today we were able to gather with our students and watch everyone perform. This week we began to prepare for our luau. Yesterday the students harvested and cleaned the kalo and ti leaves from our garden and then assemble their laulaus. After the viewing we gathered together for our luau. It was a wonderful day!
