Saturday, February 18th was the National History Day Kauai Regional Fair. 7th and 8th grade students who advanced from our school fair attended the event to be interviewed by judges about their research projects. The following students placed in their categories to qualify for the State competition which will be on Oahu on April 15th.

1st place: Oliver Jordan - Father of the Modern Murder Mystery Genre: Edgar Allan Poe
2nd place - Bradyn Nakayama: A Frontier in Radiation, The Radium Girls
3rd place tie: Berkley Fuetz - The Anti-Rape Movement; Tristen Godinez & Luahn Luz - The Rise of A Gaming Monarch
