2nd Grade Cooking Class

Each week, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade take a cooking class! Each week, Hallie Cristobal, who works for the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at UH, volunteers her time to come and teach a recipe to Island School students. This week, students learned how to make coconut curry. Students first learned about coconuts - whether they were a fruit or vegetable, how they grow, and what parts can be used to make food - made coconut curry step-by-step, and then got to taste what they made.
