Big Question - What's the tallest?

In this provocation the keiki were asked to put the sticks in order by size.  This simple provocation allows keiki to to solve  a particular question that calls for a systematic comparison.  The keiki relied on observation, comparing, and problem solving skills to order the sticks by size. This sets the stage for solving other problems that might require a measuring tool: a ruler, measuring tape, or a measuring cup.
