Island School Representation at Hawaii State Science & Engineering Fair

Island School Middle Schoolers Brooklyn Braun and Tanner Miller, and High Schooler Ashley Chun represented Kauai and Island School at the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair. Amongst 300 projects from across the state, Ashley Chun won two awards (the AFCEA Engineering Award and 1st place overall in the Material Sciences division), and Tanner Miller won three (the IEEE Engineering Award, Society of Military Award, and 3rd place overall in the Energy: Sustainable Materials and Design division).
