Island School Ohana Association

The Island School parent body, as a whole, supports the school through volunteering, sponsoring, donating, consulting and more. They are represented by the Island School ʻOhana Association (ISOA) and its Co-Presidents and current parents, Jesse Amorin and Erin Gushman. The Steering Committee consists of officers and parent representatives from each grade level. The purposes of ISOA are to support the philosophy, programs, and activities of Island School for the benefit of all its students, facilitate communication among parents, provide parent education, encourage and coordinate volunteerism, lend support in classrooms, and sponsor school-wide activities. All parents are informed through “The Compass,” a weekly newsletter regarding student activities.
