1st Grade Making Lei

This week, Kindergarten and 1st grade students made kukui lei for the Island School birthday! Students worked together in small groups to make 18 lei for the Board of Directors and the seven founding mothers of Island School. Students who had made kukui lei before sat with their friends to help teach them.
