From the Sports Deck

We are at the midpoint of the spring sports season, so what’s been happening with our Voyager spring sports teams?

GOLF
Our boys' team continue to fight, remaining as one of the top contenders in the KIF with the individual boys' title looking like it will remain with IS.  Island School has won the last 2 individual titles and is looking to add another in a few weeks.  Good luck.

TENNIS
It has been a pleasure getting out there and watching our girls’ and boys’ team’s battle.  Great individual and doubles play have made this a fun season to watch.  Our boys' team has an opportunity to defend their team championship title.  Additionally, our individual boys' players are set to contend to retain the individual title we currently hold and have held for the last 2 years.  Continued success to the team.

TRACK and FIELD
Approaching the crucial phase heading towards the KIF championships, both our girls' and boys' teams are gearing up for an impressive showing with our girls aiming for another championship title and the boys steadily climbing the ranks.  The ending of this season will be exciting.  You won't want to miss the final competition of the season set for April 25th and 26th at Vidinha Stadium.

VOLLEYBALL
Our team has dominated their first 5 games.  Tonight, they have a chance to close out the first round undefeated as they face the Kapaa Warriors at home.  Come and be a part of the great carnival type atmosphere at the Wilcox Gymnasium tonight, with the JV game commencing at 5:30 PM followed by the Varsity match 20 minutes later.

Please continue to rally behind our student athletes.  Folks, IS athletics is on the map now.  When we travel, people know who we are.  When we show up, we battle.  Your support plays a pivotal role in their journey towards excellence - please continue supporting our athletes.
A HUGE thank you to all the supporters who show up to root for our IS Voyagers athletes every week.
